Think my mum is struggling most with the fact that she can't give her brother a proper send off.

He had led good life. Was a naughty b*****d at times. Think the German tax authorities still have his name on a list.

Stay as safe and as well as you can folks. We're about to enter the eye of the storm in the next week.  Numbers going North and our lot still are not looking at what Germany are doing or what S.Korea did.

I think you'll find Germany's death rate is increasing pretty rapidly now as well. It's started to hit the elderly there now so expect the figures to get worse unfortunately.

As bad as this virus is, I can’t escape the feeling that it’s a starting point for something else. 
I see so many people thinking that their politicians are guiding them through this. ( not people on this forum, but the electorate that voted for Johnson and trump)

 It feels for the first time in my life that the door for totalitarianism has been left ajar. 
It’s not about socialism, because conservatives ought to be wary of what comes next.

I think this could be correct.

When the history books are eventually written, it’ll be things like the poppy madness and Help For Heroes that are seen as the starting point. Then obviously Brexit and the virus.
