I have the Takumis for 5k's - people love them but I haven't blasted through in them yet. Mind I rarely run a 5k, so maybe it's the distance not the shoe. Endorphin Pros are good, but likewise I never set a PR in them and I changed to the Alphas for a 15k in Dec and did PR, but they're way overkill for 5k - vaporfly could be good as it's light enough, I may try them out.
