Arsenal getting battered here.

Yeah Raya is having a great game.

Without his saves Arsenal would be out of it already.

Real Madrid games aside they've been generally poor for a while.

That’s a good hit by Rice

seems to be less distance shots/goals these days dunno if the stats back that up

also how much f***ing rolling around does Gordon want to do? It’s embarrassing

Not as embarrassing as his dreadful touch in the lead up to Arsenal's goal.

Yeah as much as I dislike Arteta, Newcastle missing out on the CL would probably be marginally preferable to Arsenal not finishing 2nd.

That clarifies what I want. All on board Newcastle missing out on the CL to give us a quarter of a chance of Isak

Narrator: they were not getting Isak either way 😂

Depends on the other 75% tbh

This game was poor after the first 10 min, not as bad as the Chelsea -UTD briefest the other night but close.

One thing I've noticed, Arsenal are actually trying to play for corners FFS, that's Allerdyce material. In the final few minutes Newcastle got the ball back and broke several times because the Arsenal player wouldn't shoot.

I’m finding it hard to believe quite how Ajax threw away the title. 1 win in their last 5 to finish second to PSV by a point.

Which is exactly why we need to stay on our guard.

I know it's not his first language but after the game Arteta is quoted on the beeb saying

"We need to rest and finish at Southampton and then go on holiday. Any other club in this position would finish in a position that we cannot even dream of."

Anyone got a clue what he's on about???

I'm glad that somebody else is feeling the pressure here - it's gonna got to the wire, isn't?

Arteta showing himself up today. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Followed by winking promises of what they’ll do next season.

He's such a useless c***.

Presumably that given all of the insurmountable obstacles they've had to face, any other club would finish in a position that Arsenal would never drop to cos they are sooooo amazing.

“We need to recognise what we’ve done,” he said, “I’ve seen other teams with one or two injuries finish fifth, eighth, 16th, 17th.” Arteta later denied that he was talking about Spurs and United, saying that he was referring to teams in previous seasons.

The striker the sign struggling and him under huge pressure by October would be lovely.
