Talks about the argument that Tuesday was the first time all the summer signings actually started together, that if the first season was "klopp's side" then it wouldn't be fair to say this season has been Slot's side given the injuries. It seems to be a lot of relaying what he's been told as opposed to opinion, but does talk about the argument that maybe a league title in your first season, followed by a bad season, means you should be allowed a deciding third season. He also talks about how it's difficult/ impossible to win round the fans once they're gone, which is where I'm at with it.

It's so at odds with the way they were briefing last summer. There was no mention of it being a transition year, it was all talk of building a dynasty. As if they were thinking, "we'll get through this one season without the system that won us the league, then we'll sort all that in 2026."

Our league position at the end of the season should only impact how nice a send-off he gets
