Yeah it's the most positive slant I can put on things. Hoping we've got other signings boxed off but won't tie them up until we get the Barcola fee sorted. Sounds like a delicious type of bread to be fair to him.

It possibly tracks with the lack of spending elsewhere. If we've been negotiating by telling them we literally don't have the money they're asking for, not going to work if we're off signing other players in the meantime.
