We'll smash them

I suspect you’re right. The mentality seems to right itself in European games and the less frenetic style suits us.

Do we know if either Konate or Gomez are back for this? If not Cobs might have to bring his boots.

Presser's at 1530 according to the offal - guess we'll find out then

Endo it is. I don't imagine Ibou will be back this week at all and understandably so.

We'll thrash them & the candle of hope will reignite.

Bloody football

Yeah … though not sure we have thrashed anyone in a long time. We will win and more cracks papered over for a week

I stopped getting my hopes up for league matches, after an European performance when we beat Inter. It's clear we can't string wins and increase quality of performances. A win against this lot, doesn't change anything for me for our next match, same as the Marseille win didn't leading up to Bmouth. We haven't rectified the same issues we've had since the Community Shield.

Frankly I'm treating most of our games at the moment with the same degree of excitement as someone who has severe anaphylaxis winning a tour of the Reeses factory.

“It’s for sure that at centre-back tomorrow there will not be a centre-back,” the head coach said.

“I can only play a midfielder over there because there are no centre-backs available – apart from Virgil, who is one of the players I credit a lot for being fit all the time.

“At his age, constantly being ready to play another 90 is something we should not take for granted.”

they're all over this place this lot - they have something to play for as a defeat could see them eliminated and a win wold (very unlikely) give them a shout at top 8

Their record is 3-1-3 but it seems they went WWLDLLW

they came through qualifying beating Shelbourn (4-0 agg), Shkendija (6-1 agg) & Ferencvaros (all I want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague away kit) (5-4 agg)

then beat Benfica lost to Copenhagen, Bilbao, drew with Chelsea, lost to Naopli & Ajax and beat Frankfurt

Maybe, just maybe, one of the reasons Virgil is making more mistakes is because he has to play every minute of every game at his age.
