He's a really good player no doubt about that. I'd be happy to keep him but he's a CB playing RB at the moment and that's not ideal.
-
Yeah Araujo looks solid but he's not really a right back. We need to upgrade both full back positions badly.

Interesting article in Sports Illustrated outlining the timeframe for the appeal. Haven't seen these dates definitively stated elsewhere - "Thanks to new regulations brought in by the Premier League, there is a clear timeline which the appeal process has to follow. A new three-person panel will have to conduct a five-day hearing within 12 weeks of the appeal being lodged. From that point—which just so happens to fall on Christmas Eve—the independent body has 30 days to deliver their verdict. At the latest, we will have an answer before the end of January." Appeal made: Oct. 1, 2026 Duration of hearing: Five days Deadline for appeal conclusion: Dec. 24, 2026 Deadline for appeal verdict: Jan. 23, 2027 https://www.si.com/soccer/man-city-punishment-timeline-how-long-will-appeal-take

Tweet from the Irish independent journalist currently with the team - “Under further questioning about the situation with Gavin Bazunu - Heimir Hallgrimsson said that he only spoke with outfield players before the camp. FAI faced questions about their process and it was eventually clarified Bazunu was not spoken to during that either” This is disgraceful on so many levels.

The Irish game v Israel could be off. Players meeting currently about whether to play or not.
-
I wonder which one charge were they found not guilty of?
-
And there was no real vitriol either really, just people frustrated by our horrendous style of play and lack of results.

Inept refs monitoring inept refs. A recipe for disaster.
-
Even in that best case scenario we are telying on Isak staying fit and playing almost all the games the first half of the season. Ridiculous.
-
Not signing another striker when we knew Ekitike was out for most of this season is as egregious as the rest of our transfer shortcomings.
