Romario Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I’m excited.Think this could be a great fit. Weirdly I think he’s a better fit than Alonso.
Johna99 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 'could' be the equivalent of getting Klopp at the same stage he was when moving from Mainz to Dortmund, but with premier League experience.
Nathan Explosion Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Liverpool agree deal with Iraola to succeed Slot Still nothing official - if you want, I can unlock this and the mockers can be risked (for those who partake) If you want the topic opened, hit the upvote. Keep it closed, hit the downvote. 13 5

Everyone would have had their say, the lovers or haters could have been appropriately identified, lauded or lambasted as required, the daily angst would have been contained, and we all could have got on with having a go at Gakpo... Maybe bookmark for reference in 9-15 months
Ethan Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Na, na, na, na Life is a Iraola coaster... Just want to ride it 1 5
growler Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Surely this all done via docusign or similar now? Assuming we waiting for the lean photo or whatever the manager equivalent is.
mofus77 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 @Cam posted this in the locked manager thread. He comes across really well in this; warm, humble, family orientated.and just generally sound. 1

Can Rio expect decent game time with Nyoni, possibly Wright and a few others getting some time? I assume so with Kroupi being their main man at 19 but not really familiar with the rest of the team.
Swipe Posted June 4 Posted June 4 The ‘ola’ is actually pronounced ‘ole’. Like how fans sometimes celebrate prolonged possession of the ball by their favourite team. The ‘Ira’ bit, weirdly, is pronounced as the individual letters in Basque, rather than a word. So Iraola, is more like ‘I-R-A - OLE!’ with the second syllable said with a real flourish. 8
