Is he a 9 or a RW? We don't need a 9 cause we have Isak & Ekitike. We really need a RW though (and a RB and a midfielder). If he's a 9 i wouldnt bother.

Barcola is the Diaz replacement position wise Isak/Wirtz are/should be Salah replacements goals & assists wise We don't yet have a Salah replacement position wise

how long till he can play, given that he's barely played in pre-season. is this another Isak situation where we don't see him till... October and even then it's a few average minutes for match fitness?

We've clearly been linked with Diomande, Minteh and Mbaye for the right. Have there been serious links with any midfielders? I've only heard Wharton mentioned and that was only speculation IIRC.

I think we'll all feel some relief once Barcola is done. That should allow us to execute the rest of our summer plans, whatever those might be...

Makes more sense if you see Barcola as the Diaz replacement. You'll be disappointed by whomever we sign as the Salah replacement though...

If he'd been sent off for that second yellow it would have been an entirely different game -
Well, at first glance these all look downgrades: Salah > Barcola Diaz > Minteh Gakpo > Munoz Would make a big difference if it was: Salah > Someone awesome Diaz > Barcola Gakpo > Munoz

I dont think Minteh is good enough for a top 4 side, but he's better than what we have now. With the car crash our window is, i'll take it.

we're good at "planning", we're less good at executing those plans

So are we still "considering making a first bid for barcola" or are we further along than that. So far i've only heard us value Barcola at X and PSV valuing him at Y, but i dont recall if we've actually made a bid yet.

Is Araujo not ready to start games? I thought he was brought in as a right back option.

I’m not even convinced he’s good enough. I’ve seen the bombing forward version a few times, that one looked ace. I’ve also see. The championship level version a few times, that one looked worrisome. He’s coming back from a long injury, really depends which version we get.

They've spent about 300m more than is over the past 5 years or so and haven't lost 3 legends for nothing (mo, trent, andy). That will get you a better squad. So yeah, f*** FSG.

With Grav/Dom/Kerkez/Isak: i've seen them play well and they can't be past it fitness wise, it's up to Iraola to get a tune out of them. I'd argue the same for Wirtz, although he's yet to show it in the Premiership.
