Lest we forget

[Mike]

Happy birthday to the man who started it all. Pictured here with surely the greatest backroom team that ever lived.

Only missing Sammy Lee in that pic...

Only missing Sammy Lee in that pic...

He's behind the pictured blokes, putting out the cones on the training pitch at age 3. Looking pretty much like he does now but much smaller.

he's actually stood there

[Clay Davis]

Bennett doesn't get mentioned much these days, I only ever really hear about him from me Dad.

[Ed the Wool]

Paisley and Fagan were so successful in their own right, you tend to forget that they were all essentially proteges of Shanks. He must have been some mentor.

[Flight]

You can just make out Josemi trying to poke his head over Joe Fagans shoulder.

[Murphman]

Rueben Bennet is a ringer for Brian Glover.

Love that pic. Thanks Mike.

My idol.

Cried my eyes out when he left.

Two pictures of him on the wall of my office. Very few know who he is. He keeps a watchful eye over me every day.
