Hello everyone I dug out my old log in to post, Danny H told me the news this morning. He was a good man Vic, I knew him from Koptalk days and the odd match he had a keen mind and intelligence which set him apart. Although I hardly saw him at all for years, he recently gave me some vinyl records I was after from his folks house in Old Swan which he naturally wouldn't take anything for. We stood next to each other at Istanbul, I said to him at half time, let's just win the second half. He gripped me at the end, repeating that back to me deliriously, it was a life moment. RIP.

Went to see The Stones the other night. They were, I have to say, unexpectedly good, ridiculously, life affirmingly, brilliantly good. If you get a chance to see them in Edinburgh or Cardiff in the next week or so take it.

I get there midday Saturday likely leaving early morning Sunday so should have a good swing at it. I still need a ticket though if anyone has anything remotely face value I will gladly take.
