Heartening to see City getting volleyed all over the place over the weekend.

The mind boggling part of this was Webb waving it away that week like it wasn't a blatant conflict of interest, and no one in the PL calling the PGMOL out on it. There was virtually no media pressure or fuss either. The whole thing was rotten. There's absolutely no way it should have been allowed in the first place, that it was reeks of either gross incompetence or corruption. It couldn't be anything else. Despite the PGMOL making error after error, there's not been any kind of pressure or bringing to heel of them. Their relationship with the PL is one big circle jerk. There should be a massive investigation into the whole way football operates after this. There's a lot of cleaning house to be done. I've no confidence there will be though. Our political system is useless as well.

That was nowhere near as bad as some of the s***e we got served last season. But there’s huge problems with squad and some of those first team players.

They’re soft this lot. No gnarl at all. Isak and Wirtz the worst but it’s right through the team. Frimpomg wasn’t at this level last season and he still isn’t. There’s no confidence in the final ball, they cower at the thought of it. And then there’s the lack of a 6.
