Aston Villa FC v Liverpool FC - 2nd November - 3pm (PL)

Hand wringing?

Yeah another weird response from the Casemeister.

Anyway...

"Klopp said he has not decided whether Fabinho will start at Aston Villa given he is on four bookings and another caution would mean missing Man City: “It is information we have to deal with. Maybe he has to deal with it on the pitch and I have to deal with it in the line-up.”

Dont risk it Jurgen

The fact he mentioned it makes me think he won't, you know. If it was something he wouldn't even consider doing think he'd have batted away the question.

If we’re debating the team selection next week without Fabinho, it’ll be deflating, he’s first pick in midfield.

I like Hass’ way of thinking and picking the midfields for the next 3 games.

Villa: Ox Henderson Milner

Genk: Ox Wijnaldum Milner

City: Henderson Fabinho Wijnaldum

Hand wringing?

Yes.

Hand Wringing - Dropping a fit, available, rested, in-form, brilliant footballer in case he gets booked and misses the following match.

Straight from the Collins English Dictionary, that. Not Oxford, granted, but still....

Still think he starts and he is making the point that he trusts him not to get booked. Hope he doesn't.

SkyBet have him as our most likely yellow card at 11/4.

so even with a tiny margin and assuming they have it more or less right, there's less than a one in three chance he gets booked

what if it's 4/1?

would we take that risk?

I'd be more worried about playing Fabinho and him playing within himself

another situation to manage; I don't like it

That’s where I am. We conceded against Leicester cos he couldn’t do what he wanted cos he’d been booked so be arsed with that from the start.

We should be able to beat Villa without him. Wijnaldum in that deep role should be fine.

I wouldn't trust Jon Moss to pick the ball up off the pedestal

We should be able to beat Aston Villa without Fabinho. I think it becomes much more difficult to beat City without him.

Henderson can do the job in a deeper role on Saturday with Gini and Ox alongside him to press their midfield back.
