I think he simply chose City of over us. In the summer City looked a risky bet and we looked the business. Now we're a mess.
-
You'd think we'd learn as a club after the s***show that was not replacing our midfield a few years back. But we've done the same, perhaps worse with the CBs.
-
I would hope and injury for VVD, Konate or Joe would change that. But I don't think it would.

Lots of noise about the Getafe purchase is getting closer to happening.

After Newcastle on Sunday, Arsenal have a pretty kind fixture list in the league until they play Spurs (H) then Chelsea (A) at the end of November, with Bayern (H) in between West Ham (H), Fulham (A), Palace (H), Burnley (A), Sunderland (A) City's next 5 is pretty light going as well, until they play us then Newcastle in November Burnley (H), Brentford (A), Everton (H), Villa (A), Bournemouth (H) Our run of fixtures is definitely harder Palace (A), Chelsea (A), United (H), Brentford (A), Villa (H) We then play Madrid (H) before City (A)

So he got injured in 1st half but they played him until half time. Like saliba got injured in the warm up then he started him anyway then he broke down after 5 mins. Arteta is s*** at managing injuries, then their fans cry bad luck when they lose key players. -

Guardiola used to be negative as hell at anfield and play for a nil nil after the first few years of mad house games Arsenal players mentality is just small time. It's just ingrained in them. They scored the equaliser and celebrated as if they'd won, instead of getting the ball back and going again as quick as possible. It's like when timber was time wasting in extra time against us when they were losing. -

Our next league game is Everton Saturday lunch time Sunday it's Arsenal vs City
-
Woltemade being older than Wirtz messes with my head and I don't know why

They were one of the most defensive teams ever in the championship, even their fans were getting on Parkers back because of it. -

Could see us going Grab and Dom in the middle and giving Mac a rest -
Yeah Glasner was the one that f***ed all that up. They had a replacement with Igor Julio in the building and Glasner told him he wasn't going to play, so he pissed off down the road to West Ham instead

Definitely some briefing going on about our summer. Story the times covering similar points too https://www.removepaywall.com/search?url=https://www.thetimes.com/sport/football/article/liverpool-transfers-alexander-isak-florian-wirtz-premier-league-fgtf203bv Says we wanted 2 forwards even before Jotas accident. Which is new information
-
Yeah but then you get into the EL next year, which is £30m-ish
-
Why do we have a keeper third kit and not a keeper away kit?
-
Think he'll only move in Jan if he's seriously, seriously pissed of at Palace, and we're looking on for some medals, and he gets some assurances about play time. Otherwise yeah, he may as well stay put. I don't think palace will even sell him. They money they'd get for higher league positions, and potentially winning the Conference League and getting Europa next year - its easier to gamble on that when the fee would be half what was agreed 2 weeks ago.
-
I don't think Palace will let him go in January. The money will be too small. Each PL place up the league is a few million. Winning the conference league is £10m-ish? Then a spot in the Europa the following year that's worth £30m or so. Doesn't really make much sense to get £15m or whatever in January, unless they're really, really s*** and heading out of the conference league.

Whole thins is daft. 2 weeks before the end of the season Newcastle played at Brighton and we're losing 1-0. They got a last minute penalty that Isak took. If he'd wanted Newcastle to not get CL football he'd have just skied it. Instead he scored.
