They have hit on a formula, the ridiculous inflation (which they are also driving) is making it all work for them (and for City). Players are getting big moves, flopping completely, and still being sold at a big profit - Delap, Jackson, Savinho, etc. We're missing out on that by being so inactive.

No way we get four, however much we need them. I would be delighted and underwhelmed with three Insane after last summer that we need so many. Two in, plus one loan and one return from loan and we still need two wingers, a right back, at least one midfielder and a backup striker

Does my head in that Chiesa is still here as if he's an option. Endo I think we'll need, but we could just as easily have moved him on and kept someone like Tyler Morton as a hg player with more of an upside.
