We're undefeated, Isak is scoring, and we seem to have got a bit of our fitness and intensity back. Macca is playing well, we have a bit of a shape, don't seem hopelessly fragile in defence, Jacquet looks a gem, and we have more to come from the team. All things considered, and especially given the summer, we're better than I'd hoped for. Still loads to sort out, but encouraging.

They're not a particularly big or strong side, but very physical and strong. I'm hoping Iraola coaches some of that into us. I think hew's begun to, we'd have absolutely wilted against that side six months ago

Isn't that exactly what he's needed for? Squad depth, take some of the load off, fill in when needed? He's been neat and tidy, won the ball several times, didn't give it away much, stay in position. Don't think he's going to take anyone's spot in the first team, but I think he'll be useful when called upon
