Something weird is going on.  We're a few days away from the new season, and there's no match thread.  I just popped on a Norwich City forum ('Norwich Talk'), and they've got no match thread either....

Anyway - Friday.  Start of 19/20 - Go big, including Mane. And win the match, that's my advice and tactical input.

Alisson

TAA Matip VvD Roberton

Henderson Fabinho Keita

Salah Firmino Origi

is what I think we'll go with. I'd go with Shaq over Div though. I think he'd start AOC if he was 100% fit.

I'd start brewster. We need to find out if he can do more than Shaqiri or origi as soon as possible.

Would you start him in the Mane role then?

It wouldn't be inconceivable that one of the front three would be rotated for this match even if everyone was fit.

Edit. That pic was too big!

The window will be closed by Friday so we will have until January (and probably all season) to see what Brewster can do. Start our strongest team possible on Friday.

I’m convinced Mane will start. He only had a 17 day break and has trained this week. If he was injured for 17 days and then back in full training for a week he’d go straight into the starting 11. This is no different .

It definitely is different. I think starting him would be bordering on negligent, and definitely unnecessary. Bench and twenty minutes.
