Wasn't there a journalist the other day saying Fernándes deserves it?

Yes, he was sectioned.

At least one person has actually watched this season and thought “yep, Declan Rice is the best I’ve seen”.

Terrifying.

Terrifying.

coming to TAAs defense. Seems like he really cares about him

Think there's much more understanding from his peers than the average fan. And Salah is such a genuinely nice fella. You'd expect some sort of arrogance from someone at his level, but it's just not there, he's too humble for any of that, just a flat out nice guy. Nothing bad to say about anyone.

Salah on if he thought he was going to stay before he signed: "10% chance. Because of the philosophy of the club, I'm not attacking them. I know how they usually deal with players over 30... From January I thought things are getting better. I think the club was testing me if I can still provide."

One of the athletic pieces when he renewed said the same. The club was genuinely wanting to see if his level looked like it was going to drop or not.

I think the club played it perfectly to be honest. I'm certain part of the reason he's been so good this season is down to the club being honest with him and challenging him. The right outcome in the end.

The. Club gambled massively. The outcome is perfect but if Virg and Mo walked away like Trent we’d be in a terrible financial position right now.
Im guessing they knew that the players really wanted to stay no matter what offers came in. But still a risk.

Let's see if he continues to be desperate for the assist record tonight.

Hopefully Diaz does not f*** it up for him again

I'm desperate for him to get it but he needs three so it's a long shot. Any two GA though give him the overall record in PL history so hopefully he can get that

In his interview with Ratboy, I think he said the club wanted to offer him more than 2 years but he said no.
