FakeNewsBear Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 Okay okay am not playing fm am I was working with an football agent and he was telling me that you know by 15 whether they will make it (attitude, ability, luck, etc) but I thought I knew some youngsters coming through but I obviously don't according to him.
RP Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I'm better at spotting future rugby stars but the best footballer I've seen (and coached) at youth age was Diego Poyet. He's currently without a club, but he'll be back when he sorts things out.

Leo No.8 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 10-15 years ago I could have, used to watch every football match available and play FM. These days I could hardly name 5 non Liverpool U-18s at all.
Murphman Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) I'm better at spotting future rugby stars but the best footballer I've seen (and coached) at youth age was Diego Poyet. He's currently without a club, but he'll be back when he sorts things out. I took a training session and managed a pre season friendly on the Saturday in both of which David Somma was involved. He stayed with us for a week having trials before getting a contract at Leeds United, scoring lots of goals and getting a cap for South Africa. Then he got badly injured which was a real shame. Edit: just seen it's about U18's oh well........ Edited September 16, 2016 by Murphman
Murphman Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Could he kick it dead hard? F*ck me yeah, booted it like a rocket!!!
