Am I right in saying that if City win the FA cup then sixth and seventh place become Europa League and therefore eighth becomes Conference League qualification?

Would it not be Palace who got the Europa League place if City win? Didn't it used to be that the runner up gets in and the winner goes into the CL through the league, the EL place goes to the other finalist?

Not been that way for a while now - if the winner doesn't need the place 'cos they've already qualified for that or better then it reverts to the next in line in the league
