He just needs to go. Waste of time and money

Still early days I guess, but concerning that he hasn't done a single thing since he's been here that makes you think 'he's going to be great'

No amount of gym work is going to 'toughen' him up for the PL. He's mentally so f***ing weak. Terrified of getting hurt so s***s out of every challenge.

As set backs in life go, it's not the most challenging situation to be put in. Disappointing if that's the reason for letting himself go, and definitely not the mentality of a top player.

It's not a criticism of him, more a questioning of why we signed a player with his profile. Because he 'only' contributes goals, we need to progress the ball quickly up to him before the opposition has camped behind the ball. We haven't played like that for years; we pass the ball side to side until he's got next to no space to work in. Nunez (although a poor finisher) was another example. He actually made really good runs in behind a defence, but we lost never played the ball through early. A player who 'only' scores goals is fine when you play to his strengths. When you don't, you're effectively going a man down in many situations. (And that's before you factor in the ineffectiveness of Wirtz).

I think he's similar to Keita, in that he looked brilliant and really exciting prior to joining us. Then found the league to be difficult and didn't have the strength of character and fight to make it happen here.

He's such a strange signing for me. Today demonstrates perfectly what he is, in that you get him a chance in the box and he'll score 99 times out of a 100. He doesn't really offer much more than that, but his goal scoring is brilliant. We don't play the football for someone like that, and we don't seem to be changing into a team that does. The 'plan' from Hughes around these signings is still really unclear.

€75m apparently, and I've never even heard of him. In Ligue 1 last season he scored a whopping 8 goals in 29 appearances... These transfer fees are surely unsustainable?

I can't believe how uch of a s*** show we've become. I have so little enthusiasm for this coming season. Can't remember feeling this before.

The least of our worries might be true, but that's a sign of how in trouble we are. I'm expecting him to be a standout player for what we paid. Seems like expectations on him have lowered to the point that having a couple of decent touches and scoring a simple goal is enough for the entire 90 mins

For £115m (at last season's prices as well) he should be running the attacking game, creating chance after chance and scoring ala De Bruyne.

s***e again. Kerkez and Tsimikas - dreadful Jacquet and Araujo - decent Frimpong - absolutely f***ing useless Macca - too slow Dom - if he were half as good as he thinks he is he'd be amazing... But he isn't Wirtz - invisible man and a waste of a name on the team sheet Nyoni - would have him over Macca Munoz - at least when he wasn't looking great, the effort was there. Looked better on the right, and great goal Isak - unless the ball is a few yards out, doesn't contribute anything. Not the right player for us

He's a very talented prospect, but at this stage of his career he could still become a top class player or a very average one (see Jadon Sancho). Playing him out of position because we've failed spectacularly to even contemplate replacing one of our greatest ever players is doing him a huge disservice though. He needs playing on the left where he's looked dangerous, and then we'll see where he can get to.

I think this is it for me (and I didn't realise how pissed off with them I still was for last season). We weren't world beaters when Jürgen arrived, but someone like Lallana would be a huge upgrade on Wirtz, despite on paper being nowhere near his level.

After watching that crap half of football I think we're in a pretty dire position. Maybe it's just me, but I feel almost no connection with this set of players (bar perhaps Ali and Virgil). If I had any confidence in us signing the right replacements, I'm not sure I'd be disappointed with any or every single one of them being sold. Can't remember when (if ever) I've felt like that about us.

I did this with my son a few years back. Trawling through my emails I must have done a contact us form and then got a response from the email address below. They set up a Member ID for him and created a new Personal Assistant ID for me. disability@liverpoolfc.com I did use it for the friendly and legend matches but for the normal ballots it's as crap and experience as everyone else so I sacked off the membership this year.

From what I saw somewhere (can't remember where, sorry), the arrangement is that the full purchase price has been set already and can this new group can just trigger it; doesn't need FSG to sign off, as they technically already have.

It would really appear that we're an absolute shambles of late. Not going to sack Slot, then changing our minds. Director/s of Football that are supposed to provide long term continuity being completely ineffective and leaving. Gaping holes in the squad and seemingly nobody good enough to be worth trying to buy. If you even look at where we were historically good; selling fringe players for big money, we've managed to coincide having no players available to sell with a transfer market that has gone mad, and bang average players being sold for huge sums.

I jacked the membership in this year for me and my son. Years of trying and not got anything in the ballot.

Does anybody have a rough idea of the kind of money these guys make from running these kind of s*** talking accounts? It must be more than I can imagine, because otherwise I really don't see the point.

I agree with the previous posts. The club itself appears pretty rudderless, and the performances last year were dreadful. I think football in general is in a pretty crap place; stylistically terrible, transfer fees and suspect financial activity ruining the game, plus all the interference of VAR/new interpretations of the rules. I missed more games (TV) last year than I have in many years combined, and I just have a complete apathy to the upcoming season.

I fear I'm being radicalised watching this.
