Almost identical to mine other than I had Barnes in for Mo.

Some of the options made me chuckle. Riise...

ludicrous the amount of really good players, especially forwards, that simply get nowhere near our “best side”. To shack,Keegan,Hunt,Owen,Fowler,Beardsley.

Tried that on Beeb site. Couldn’t do it. Stymied at Goalkeeper. The first one I watched was the Flying Pig so there were some excellent choices. Some dross to when I thought about it.

Despise these things BUT since footy finished in March I've done every single one the BBC has offered. And I hate myself for it. 

Did this one yesterday and only just realised, seeing NYR's team, that i was clearly word blind when it came to Dalglish. Just didn't see him at all but obviously he was there.

Think I went with:

Scott 

Neal Hyypia Hansen Nicol

Gerrard Souness Alonso 

Suarez Torres Barnes

I figured Alisson and VvD were too new to go in. And obviously substitute Torres for Dalglish. Also, could make an argument for Nicol at rightback with Kennedy in on the left.

Might I just say that I read threads like this with a vague sense of triumph after years and years of listening to you old c**** talk about players I never saw.

It now just so happens to be the case that my generation got to see the best of the best.  In fact, I'm not even sure it was worth being around for the previous glory years because this team and these players supplant everything that came before.

So have that.

 

 

Oh and just FYI, this is my all-time Liverpool team.

Except replace Henderson, Fabinho and Wijnaldum with Gerrard, Alonso and Hamann obviously.

And Hyypia in for Gomez.
