The owners knew in the summer and didn’t tell anyone including their legal team, new signings and agents not informed. Massive infighting going on. It’s not really that different from doping. Athletes that are caught doping are banned, and I don’t think that’s unreasonable here. It just expulsion from the PL but a ban from all football for a fixed period then they can re-apply to join at the bottom level. It’s a suitable punishment and deterrent against anyone else trying similar. It’s completely discredited the sport in England and brought it into disrepute. It’s a national scandal.

Play him as a forward then, as he’s not a top midfielder I think that’s right, playing with him or Wirtz needs two proper midfielders who will sit and win the ball. He looks more physically adapted to the league than Wirtz, but Wirtz is obviously the more technically capable player. I think there’s also an argument to play him on the right to free him of the midfield responsibilities

He’s playing well with some competition and a different system. Hopefully it continues

Last night was him as a player exemplified, can run really fast, kick the ball really hard (occasionally scoring amazing goals), but be an absolutely awful midfielder. If we want his two good attributes then he needs to be played elsewhere, but it’s an awful lot of accommodation for an average player overall.

What’s he good at other than free kicks, kicking the ball really hard and being able to run a lot. He’s very spursy
