  1. Not arsed if we don’t sign the first choice as long as we sign someone decent and soon. Can’t be doing with sitting on our hands waiting for the right player. We can’t afford to do that having lost Salah. We’re very light in terms of proven quality upfront for the first time in years.
  2. Luke Edwards is going to have a busy summer again
  3. They were clearly
  4. Turn around, cloggies Yes even you Van de Vaart Turn around,Cloggies Even you Van de Vaart We don’t need you tonight And we don’t need you ever And if Slot had been right Gakpo would be here forever And now need someone on the right But not Frankie De Jong Gakpo, he can take it to the end of the line Then once again he cuts inside he does it all of the time (All of the time) He don't know what to do, and Kerkez overlaps but is left in the dark We're living in a Dutch oven and it stinks of farts Who’s going to play down the right Gakpo’ not gonna start tonight Gakpo’s not gonna start tonight Once upon a time, Virgil replaced Lovren Now it’s all falling apart Please no more cloggies not even Van De Vaart
  5. Trying to keep his Dad in a job. Still s***. Played for more games than he should have last season
  6. The Boy with the thorn in his hide
  7. Hopefully we sign someone decent to replace Konate with some experience so we aren’t reliant on youngsters. No Jacquet Required….at least for a while…But Seriously, we need someone there and in attack on Both Sides, not taking all these rumours at Face Value though since Mo said Hello I must be Going.
  8. Peter Crouch Raheem Sterling Joe Gomez
  9. Why? What’s behind this?
  10. Barrs Cola then?
  11. Szoboszlai has been stabbed (by his underwired bra)
  12. He’s athletic and a good striker of the ball, but what else does he really offer? I’m with Swipe here don’t think he should be an automatic starter. He’s looked better than the rest this season because he can still run.
  13. Yep, they’re all in on the pro Hughes PR spin already. Apparently it’s all him behind the decision. Anyone buying that?
  14. Amazing how far he dragged down the belief and positivity of the fan base. Supporting Liverpool became such a negative thing down the performance and actions of the manager, such a relief he’s gone, we can start to have some belief again.
  15. It’s weird these stories coming out now as examples of issues behind the scenes, it does sort of confirm what we were al thinking though that these journalists were all towing a line they were being fed rather than reporting the facts and their genuine thoughts on what was going on.
  16. This snippet from the athletic piece was interesting in that it suggests people at the club were trying to reduce the power and influence of the manager. Wonder who that could be ? Arne Slot is not without personality but unlike his predecessor, Jurgen Klopp, he did not try to affect you with words, gestures or particularly strong stances. This was, it should be stressed, all a part of the grand strategy at Liverpool where the cult of the manager either died or has taken a nap since the departure of Klopp, whose force was so great that he was left with little structure to support him. Slot, as head coach, was more of a middle-manager; someone who acted with the objectivity of a civil servant and the occasional bluntness of a corrections officer. There was little else to love Slot for: he and the system around him made it entirely about the football and the football alone. When the football is bad, this is what happens.
  17. I enjoyed football today for the first time in 2026
  18. I feel relieved more than anything last season was abysmal
