Thinking back over liverpool moments, on and off the pitch, what moments have really inspired you, made you emotional, or just plain proud to be a liverpool supporter?

For me, I have 3

1. Fowler v Arsenal, when he stood up and said it wasn't a penalty, he wasn't touched

2. Gerrard in CL Final after he scored, geeing the crowd and noticeable increase in volume thereafter (the singing at half time too)

3. Carra interview, where he says 'I'm nothaving that. Who's bigger than Liverpool?'

Personally I'd add Dudek's reception by the crowd when he played in the Carling Cup after his shocker against ManU some years ago (the Forlan game). I only listened to the match on the eSeason thing but as I remember he good an especially loud rendition of "we got a big Pole in our goal" or something and I remember thinking "that's the way to support your players" at the time.

Another "shivers down the spine" moment was the cup game against Arsenal when the Kop were chanting for justice for the 96.

Benayoun's goal and our reaction after the Fulham game will be remembered for a long time. We believed.

Torres' calmness to take the extra touch and surprise Van der Sar at Old Trafford at 1-0 down at our first chance at goal took nerves of steel as well.

Second leg against Juve where everyone stood up to be counted was an awe inspring team performance.

And to think that some idiot journo used this to beat Gerrard a few months ago, claiming that it was Gerrard thinking he was superior or that the fans were not good enough (can't remember exactly, something of the sort though).

One moment that stuck out in a lesser games some 2yrs ago was Hyypia suffering a head wound, getting it patched up, returning to the field and heading out a corner within seconds.

Alonso and company hurrying to take the corner with seconds left on the clock against Chelsea...Liverpool 7-5 down, but not bloody giving up, not until the ref blows.

FYDS once told me his most inspiring moment as an LFC fan was watching Elisha Scott make his debut.

Can't remember the game but the whole crowd sung Houllier's name when it was obviously one of his last. He had been slagged unmercifully by fans and press alike for weeks before. Got to admit it brought a tear to my eye that.

For me, Toshack, then Keegan scoring away at Wolves in 1976 to win the League (ahead of QPR I think?) - before we started to dominate big cup in Europe. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up.

When The Kop sang "Gary Mac, Gary Mac, Gary Gary Mac" for about ten minutes straight the day after his wife died.

Hyypia going through Rivaldo, made the best player in the world at the time disappear for the rest of the game

GH coming back after illness

Reina picking up Skrtel after Adabyour scored to make it 2-2

The celebration after Babel and Mellor scored their last minuters v Arsenal.

I was at both and was on the corner flag they ran to.

Very special.

YNWA at half-time at Istanbul.

The roar at the end of the first Chelsea CL semi (the Garcia one).

The chant of Merseyside before the start of the Cup Final with Everton.

Whistling YNWA whilst walking to the Baseball Ground from the train station. It may sound stupid but you had to be there, hairs on the back of the neck stuff.

Fulham away 04/05 - first time Ring of Fire really got sung.

Arsenal away the same season and they batter us 3-1, but we leave the ground going mental singing about Istanbul. Their fans didn't know what the f*ck was going on.
