I want the European Cup

I'd take another league title, I ain't greedy

Circumstance f***ed the EC for us this year, would be nice to make it make it 7 next year.

However, I'd bite your hand off for either.

Defending the title, getting to No. 21 has to be the priority.

The CL group stage is a pile of bolllocks and needs to be treated accordingly

As good they were I'm still a bit annoyed we didn't beat PSG - I think we probably should've.

Playing Arsenal in the CL might've been a bit of a distraction from the league but beating Arteta to both would've been sweet.

Evertonians in lockdown.

Curtains closed and the telly on maximum volume in their caravans in Bala and Talacre.

It's good that City have that stupid world cup in the summer, hopefully it'll derail their season again

Think it'll be between us and a***

We buy well in the summer and we could win it by a big margin again

It'll be very interesting to see who we buy and what positions. You'd think this achievement gives Slot a stronger say in the buying policy, we don't want to see another Chiesa situation

Hopefully city won't be in the Premier league to contend with anyway.

But yeah defending the title is the paramount concern.

The most important signing is the manager himself. Give him 2 more years.

Then Konate.

After that? Who knows, but get them in early - before pre-season starts.

I think we need 4 (assuming Trent and Nunez go and all others stay), all potential starters, but it could literally be anything.

Just looking at the calendar for next season.

Any players we have at AFCON that get to the semi final stage will miss 4-6 PL games, FA Cup 3rd round and probably won't be back in time for the 7th round of CL games. Release dates haven't been announced yet so might be an extra PL game on top of that but it's complicated 'cos it's outside the FIFA release window apparently.

That aside, the calendar looks pretty similar to last year with the usual 3 international windows in September, October and November '25 and a 4th in March '26

Quite why they can't combine the October & November international windows and have them at the same time as AFCON is beyond me.

Yeah, the last bit is absurd.

This year AFCON runs over Christmas, so doing that would mean no PL football over that period so the TV companies would kick off.

But there's got to be a way of combining international windows and winter breaks (for those leagues that have them) to minimise the impact. It's a joke at the moment.

He won't but it would be lovely if Mo retired from internationals.

a lot of things there - we played them at their peak, which was annoying, had we dropped into the other half I'm sure it would be PSG vs Liverpool final

We just need to play the reserves in the league and fa cup games. It's the sheer number of games that always affects us towards the end of the season.

Can't belive our first game is a promoted side away again, always is. And then of course Arsenal game 3 away. These fixtures are such a fix.

He'll do that after the world cup, he's already missing most of the ACN qualifiers and not playing in any friendlies
