The whole thing with migrants death is awful. But remember not so long ago Qatar was deemed a 3rd world country. So their health and safety law's haven't fully caught up with there rate of development. But in general I would say in this region, and other parts of the world like for example India, health and safety is just an after thought. How about all the migrants and slaves that died building western civilization?

Racism still exists to this day... It's just better hidden. But sometimes something triggers it off and you can see it seeping out.
