Do we ever get an explanation of these "illnesses" Lovren continually suffers from - it's weird that it always seems vague and it's seldom an "injury"

He had a pretty rough childhood. More recently his wife had an affair and it was covered in the media. I’ve sometimes wondered whether the ‘illnesses’ are a cover for PTSD.

He’s still not very good at football mind.

It could be linked to this, yeah.

It seems like something going on that's not made it out into the media.

He is though. He's just not as consistent as Matip or Gomez

Liverpool travelling squad: Fabinho, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Gomez, Adrian, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana, Lonergan, Shaqiri, Brewster, Robertson, Origi, Matip, Hoever, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Elliott.

I thought Brewster wasn't fit, is he just along for the laughs?

Sounds like Keita has injured his thigh. Again.

One game into the season and he's injured again already

I know it's not his fault but it's alarming the injuries he picks up. What we expected to get and what we ended up with are vastly different players..

Unfortunate for him of course but this really doesn't help the 'don't need new signings cos got Naby and Ox etc' argument
