Yeah me too, it's really powerful when shows do that. 

The ending to Schindler's List is really well done in that regard.

Band of Brothers is fantastic. Was disappointed by the Pacific because I expected something equally great and it wasn't.

It's not the same as BoB. It like BoB is hard to follow characters, but the payoff is more powerful.

Just finished season 3 of The Wire. Gotta say I didn't see that happening. Actually think I may be enjoying more than I would have if I'd seen it when it was first out - knowing how far and how fast technology has moved on even since then.

Its very much Ridley Scott, and his interests in AI and what it means to be human, organized religion, people needing faith. Reminded me of what he did with the David character in Covenant. 

Found it a little bit unsettling as much as I enjoyed it tbh

Really good storytelling. Small seaside town. Touching and funny.

Struggling with Sharp Objects to be honest.... Feel it's painfully slow. 

Tonight I got 26 mins into an episode before realising it was the episode I watched on Friday night. 

Will stick with it, but bit fed up of it all being so samey and drawn out

Finished Raised By Wolves and agree with both your comments.

Was certainly very typically Ridley Scott in its themes that he's clearly fascinated by.

It was certainly worth watching and had some very good bits but drifted a bit at times.

Seen the first four episodes of Steven King's The Stand. I'm still undecided if it's good or not, but it looks like the story is gaining momentum.
