dorgie Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Feel for the lad, but not for the club. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...nal/7794770.stm Fabregas faces four-month lay-off Fabregas took over as Arsenal captain last month Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has been ruled out for up to four months after rupturing knee ligaments in Sunday's draw with Liverpool. The 21-year-old midfielder suffered the injury going for a 50-50 ball with fellow Spaniard Xabi Alonso and was replaced by Vassiriki Diaby. Full story to follow
crisps Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 (edited) Perhaps a blessing in disguise for Arsenal as Wenger may actually buy a couple of CM's with experience. Was thinking earlier too, why is Appiah still a free agent, odd for a decent player who's 27 to be without a club for so long? Edited December 23, 2008 by crisps
CarraLegend Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 What a shame for the snivelling, odious, sly, dirty little t***.

More likely to just give Ramsey or Wilshire more of a run out knowing Wenger and his stubborness.

From what I read on RAWK, he apparently has serious injury/health problems. Didn't read into detail though.
dorgie Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 Would be funny if they signed Barry in January now and Villa pipped them to the CL spot
Tommy Cockles Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Whoa. That's petty serious. Alonso is good mates with him, that will upset Xabi.
Swagger Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 What a shame for the snivelling, odious, sly, dirty little t***. Well in Alonso!
Sion Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 What a shame for the snivelling, odious, sly, dirty little t***. spot on, horrible player who is far from the little genius he gets labelled as. Where's he been this season when Arsenal needed him the most?

Sion Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 comes across as a decent guy no he doesn'tbesides it's not he's out for 18 months, then I might feel a little bit sorry for him
CarraLegend Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Karma for when he was telling the ref to send Alonso off then cheering the decision when he did.
Bigal Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Carralegend, spot on. who gives a f***? this is good news
nrkintheuk Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Karma for when he was telling the ref to send Alonso off then cheering the decision when he did. Thats exactly what I thought. Ruined a good weekend for me that did!
stressederic Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 He'll be back fit just in time for the last few weeks of the season and his subsequent transfer to Barcelona.
Swipe Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Also thought he was an obnoxious sly little prick. An overrated one at that.
MFletcher Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 He should be out/only coming back for our game against them in late April. I knew our dreadful short corner routines would eventually throw up a positive.
floyd Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Adebayor was sent off against Liverpool for two mistimed tackles on Emiliano Insúa and Alvaro Arbeloa but he claimed that he and his team-mates had been more sinned against. “If you try to protect strikers, I would not have had a red card,” he said. “You can see the tackle on Fábregas before he went off was a little dangerous but there was no card, not even a foul. Was it f***. The only bad thing about it, was the little cvnt didn't suffer a David Bust type injury, the little snide cvnt
Redwire Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Adebayor has continued his whinging by moaning about Xabi's tackle on Fabregas. The c*nt. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/de...verpool-arsenal
floyd the barber Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Was you who started the Carling Cup thread wasn't it? yup, i dont mind arsenal.....out of all our rivals, arsenal i feel deserve the most respect......we`ve always had a good rapport with their fans and the club as a whole.
Stevie H Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Was it f***. The only bad thing about it, was the little cvnt didn't suffer a David Bust type injury, the little snide cvntcheeky f*cker. that was the definition of a 50/50 challenge. arsenal really are a bunch of ponces.
