We are gonna end up with about 9 fit first team players at some point next season plus a bunch of kids. At the moment it’s looking very grim plus if Slot stays this is even worse. Don’t particularly care about Konate leaving after this season, it just means we probably need to sign 2 or 3 centre backs in the next year or two.

Imagine the motivation for the players to come back for pre season. Regardless of what they’re paid it’s just gonna be like FFS back to work Monday. I can’t begin to fathom how FSG can think let’s give him more money and time. There’s no way they can’t tell or don’t know the entire fan base loathe him and the players. Really hoping we get an announcement mid week.

What a season. City doing us an injury time favour against Bournemouth

I’m actually getting sick of checking all the usual Twitter grifters the last few days. I know it’s all complete b******s, but part of me is still hoping one of them drops a tiny bit of decent “ITK” news

Hanging all my hope on that we are going to get an announcement this week that he’s leaving. Hoping they’re banking on City beating Bournemouth tomorrow which guarantees us our limp into the CL but regardless then Slot can kinda leave on a good note, get a farewell round of applause for last season etc and the Brentford game/result is kinda irrelevant. Think there will be some panic if Bournemouth did win!

Hard to know how much is the players and / or manager. Seems like we spent a lot of money last summer but looks like we need a Klopp style few years rebuild again now.
