21 years old, 6 appearances, 1 goal.

By his age, Owen and Fowler were on three 20 goal seasons each. Harshly based on that I think he’ll end up at a mid table premiership club at best.
Feels harsh to “write him off” (need though mid table premiership makes a pretty good career), but thought I’d nail my flag to the mast early.

i think I’m bottom of Nathan’s prediction league, so what do i know though…

Think for now he'll be really good in that "high energy pest" role for the last 15-20 mins of games we're winning.

If he develops into more than that then great. If not, we'll sell him for some fairly decent money

To be fair, I figured out I’m constantly wrong so am now predicting losses. Taking one for the team.

He could be the new Dirk Kuyt! He's got the barnet for it.

Starts up front for Cymru tonight, but I'm not that hopeful he'll get many chances - Portugal side looks v. strong in comparison.

Great performance from him again, and so glad he got the goal. It's still a big leap up in quality for him to be a permanent fixture here, but it's brilliant to see Iraola putting faith in youngsters and inspiring them to contribute - rather than Slot's really cold mannerisms.

Last night was the first time I thought he had any quality. He always seemed a very hardworking smart player with limited ability to me. Hopefully he can get better and show it more often.

There's been loads of nice little flashes from him up until now, he was great in the League Cup game he started.

Whether he can step up form being a high energy "pest" off the bench to someone capable of starting games when everyone else is fit remains to be seen, but you can't ask too much more from the lad than we've seen so far.

PL opponents are a big step up, so be interesting to see if he can start to play consistently at that level. For now he's decent to have around the squad

I don’t care if he has quality. I care that he legs it around. Shot across the bows to Isak.

Exactly, just put him on the pitch, anywhere, and tell the others to do what he does until they show they are capable of doing it for themselves.

Such a team of introverts. A team of Robbos beats a team of Wirtzs all day every day.

This tactic is often used in youth academies, putting the hard workers against the skillful, technical best, and the brutes win every time.

The best teams, are the ones who get the technical greats to work their arses off as well.
