Is Mo fit to start? If not, I think he will get a decent chunk of time - probably from 60 onwards. would help if city beat brentford, then it basically becomes Mo and Robertson's testimonial match.

All about Bournemouth now on Tuesday. If they beat city it’s one point of a difference on the final day. They’re away to Forest and well obviously have a Brentford who can still get Europe. Wouldn’t he hugely confident we could handle any pressure on the final day tbh.

Is there a realistic way we can't get 5th?

If we lose to Brentford, Bournemouth draw with City and beat Forest, then they'd need a a six goal swing to go above us. So they pretty much need two wins with us losing or drawing.

All of this is possible.

A defeat would be the 20th of the season, reality suggests we’re back amongst the chasing pack from here onwards unless there is a dramatic reset over the next year or so.

I wouldn’t be flooded with confidence if Bournemouth do the unthinkable and beat City tomorrow.

That's Alisson and Isak fit but not playing.

Slot refusing to play them because they've stood up to him? Player power because they want the World Cup? Agent power because they want a move? Slot knocking down his trusted squad from a tiny 15 to 13 because he's so smart?

Will also be interesting to see if Salah, Robertson, Konate, Macca & Jones start on Sunday or if they all get a farewell five minutes.

Saw an interview with Nathan Collins, seems Brentford are planning to "have a right good go at" Liverpool.

I don't think we're prepared for that.

They don’t need to put as much effort as that in ffs, have they not watched us this season?…. Amateurs

We need it to be this as I don’t trust us to get a result if we need one and Mo and Robbo deserve a proper sending off.

Imagine if Salah was dropped from the matchday squad

He won’t bring that on himself

He's getting on the pitch to say good bye regardless so it'd be a catastrophic error of judgment to do that I think.

Has he considered that even a moderately acceptable go will probably do the job?
