Wonder if we’ll see a fair bit of Fabinho at the back by choice now. Better passer than Gomez or Matip and let’s us have Thiago and Gini’s steadiness on the pitch too.

Absolutely gutted about Virg. I feel like something terrible has happened to a mate, i’m gutted.

However..

We have the best keeper in the world.

We have the two best fullbacks in the world.

We have two centre-backs that would walk into most of our nearest rivals’ sides, plus a transfer window in 2 months. 

We have the best midfield in the league, with Thiago. 

We have the best forward line in the league.

We have the greatest manager in world football. 

It won’t be as controlled or precision-engineered as last season, and it will be f*cking stressful, but 80-85 points wins this league and we can absolutely do that - even without Big Virg.

The thing annoying me lot about this is we aren’t fielding our best XI for ages now. Just hope Virge comes back 100%. Usually takes 6mths to get rid of the rust while playing.
