Case Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) Just to move the conversation on from Cavani v Bobby and so on. Spurs. Alli has already 'withdrawn' from Englands squad and now Kane is going to be rested. Hendo, Gomez and Trent to play the full 90 no doubt. Biggest game since Leicester. New York Red Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 I hope JK doesn’t bring back Lovren for this. I just know he’ll sh*t the bed again.

New York Red Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Lovren out for another month I read.Well that sorts that worry out for me. Ta.
magneto Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Salah, Mane, Keita, Van Dijk and Wijnaldum should all theoretically be back today in training as they all played on the weekend. Robertson played last night and should also be returning soon and be fine for the weekend. Southgate rumoured to be making 9 changes with Henderson and Gomez being rested so they should be fine as well. Trent may come on for England, but won't play the full match as Walker's rumoured to be starting so Trent will have a bit of time on the pitch but should *touch wood* be okay for Saturday. Shaqiri may play his 2nd match in a few days for Switzerland tonight. He was fantastic for them against Iceland and may actually be a contender for this Spurs fixture. Biggest worries for me are Alisson, Firmino and to a lesser extent Fabinho who play early morning Wednesday and will no doubt be privately flown to England to return Wednesday afternoon. Two days for them to get ready for another early afternoon fixture which the team does relatively poor in. My team for Spurs: AlissonTrent Gomez Van Dijk RobertsonWijnaldum Milner KeitaMane Firmino Salah Bench:Mignolet (should recover in time with finger injury)ShaqiriSturridgeMatipMorenoHendersonFabinho (assuming Klopp is now happy to include him a matchday squad). Outside chance for Origi, Clyne, Solanke to make the bench as they've had a LOT of rest.
Guy_Incognito Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I saw on twitter last night that the Brazil team has been announced and there's no Liverpool players in it
magneto Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I saw on twitter last night that the Brazil team has been announced and there's no Liverpool players in itPossibly Seleção Brasileira @BrazilStat Brazil XI in training: Neto; Militão, Marq, Dedé, Sandro; Arthur, Casemiro, Coutinho; Costa, Richarlison, Neymar.
Conrad Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Well that sorts that worry out for me. Ta.Yay, great news, important player out injured
MarkD Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Possibly Seleção Brasileira @BrazilStat Brazil XI in training: Neto; Militão, Marq, Dedé, Sandro; Arthur, Casemiro, Coutinho; Costa, Richarlison, Neymar. Cue - Richarlison better than Bobby cries from the Goodison Brains' Trust. DvD of this match to follow.
Doyler3000 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Well that sorts that worry out for me. Ta. Yay, great news, important player out injured I don't think that's what NYR is saying. Wouldn't most people start Gomez for this one even if Lovren was fit?
Conrad Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I don't think that's what NYR is saying. Wouldn't most people start Gomez for this one even if Lovren was fit? Yes, and I would start Gomez too But if Lovren is out for another month that is not good news.
Earl Hafler Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 PSG can have Lovren next summer for £60m
Begbie Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Big game.....really sends down a marker if we win
Guy_Incognito Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I hate playing Spurs. They seem to know how to play against us
Earl Hafler Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 They’ve beaten us once since 2012. It’s a fixture I look forward to, particularly this season with many of their fan base having some ridiculous, Manc like sneering attitude towards us - I’ve seen loads on Twitter criticising us for having a sense of entitlement ! Some f***ing balls.
Guy_Incognito Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 They’ve beaten us once since 2012 Really? It seems worse. Last season was pretty bad, like. Even though we should've won at home, I remember being on the ropes a bit. But, f*** it, I'm all positive now
Sion Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 The away game last year was nowhere near the demolition the score made it sound like. Combination of Mignolet, Lovren, and Moreno made that happen.
Hightown Phil Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 The away game last year was nowhere near the demolition the score made it sound like. Combination of Mignolet, Lovren, and Moreno made that happen. What did Moreno do? Emre Can being a f***ing idiot was good as well.
Sion Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 What did Moreno do? Emre Can being a f***ing idiot was good as well.Poor positioning for their first. Caught upfield for their second. Hardly a massive culpability, but he's guilty based on past endeavours
Guy_Incognito Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Deffo. In fact I remember arguing that if we'd swapped keepers we'd have won 3-2 or something. Right I'm all over this now. We'll s*** 'em
Jim D Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 The 2-2 draw at home was the first time in a long time I've been really mad after a match, I very rarely lose my cool but those two penalty decisions were shocking.

Then that c*** linesman fist pump
