didn't panic or rush, 3-4 yards out with a defender 2 feet taller than him all over him & he didn't try to bury it, knew the right thing to do & did it.

It wouldn't have been had it not been for the fact he is only making his 2nd or 3rd appearance. If he'd have gone for glory, specially in that match no one would have blamed him. It showed composure, awareness and confidence.

 

But yes the cross was very good, some credit must go to Babel he's done very well in him limited appearances since his injury / twitter b******ing

Because Gerrard didnt score does that mean that Riera or Derek's contribution is less ?

 

Danni didnt get the ball often enough for me. I dont expect him to set up a goal with a header from a cross, but we didnt get him on the ball enough outside the box.
