stressederic Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I hope we f***ing thrash(/win reasonably comfortably/scrape 3 points) them. 1
Bootle Buck Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Forest have to play Fenerbahce on Thursday. Hopefully they will be knackered for Sunday.
honourablegeorge Posted February 15 Posted February 15 If Slot finally beats Forest, then we really have turned some sort of corner
Swipe Posted February 15 Posted February 15 (edited) New manager bounce. I know they probably statistically arent an actual thing but I hate playing teams with new managers. Edited February 15 by Swipe 1

Does seem to work for United, I guess absolutely grinding your team into the most miserable state possible for at least 18 months before changing is key.

United's new mananger bumps tend to dissipate when the new guy is made permanent. Their players have form for trying hard for the interim and then clocking off when he's in post and they don't have to impress anymore.

Good spot, that should balance the home advantage out a bit. I think we'll win. We've definitely found some confidence and energy in our play lately. Gomez will score his first goal.
honourablegeorge Posted February 16 Posted February 16 CL playoffs this week too, glad we avoided those. Newcastle will be stretched thin

charlie clown Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Even before Clough I always hated Forest. I think it was because when you got bubble gum football cards their players always seemed to be posing with a block of flats in the background and it looked ridiculous. Jim Barron. Peter Hindley. Ian Storey-Moore. Apartment nonces the lot of em. The only acceptable backgrounds in one of those cards is a stand or a floodlight. I think I might try and track some of em down on eBay and send em to Arne. Fuel his anti-Forest ire even further. 3 1
