Begbie Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 Midfield has to stay the same so hope Gomez can make it. So we know when the other 2 right backs are supposed to return?
YugoB Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 Acid test pt 2 Mo will probably start. 24 minutes ago, Begbie said: Midfield has to stay the same so hope Gomez can make it. McBain Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 He'll want Joe for Leeds on Sat so doubt he plays here.
cocknose Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Unfortunately , Mo should not come back in but probably will Tough game this , saw Sunderland in the flesh last week at Fulham (don’t ask) and they are a very energetic bunch
Tobes Rafa Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Yeah this will be a tougher test. I normally try to be as positive as possible but I don’t see yesterday’s game as having much of an impact on the confidence. Quite simply if we play as we did against Forest we’ll lose this. All is not fixed after 3 points. First goal is vital and I’d be tempted to play exactly the same team, with Mo on the bench. We’ll need the workers on the pitch. If Joe can make it, great, if not I’d be tempted to play Ramsey for an hour.
mofus77 Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Sunderland are obviously a tougher test but a huge part of our trouble has been confidence. A lot easier to approach a tough game on the back of a win.
McBain Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 We need to build momentum and not let any victory just feel like a random occurrence. If we go out there and it feels like Sunday never happened, and we're back to being clumsy and fragile and like we have no idea what we're doing then we should sack him straight away
mofus77 Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Keep it tight and score first. That should be our mantra every game now, need a run of wins to build us back up.

Dont think Mo is being benched twice, hopefully Gomez can play, and he skips the Leeds game bc I cant see him playing 3 games in a week
Ripley Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Stewart Attwell ref. Somebody called Timothy Wood VAR

D.Boon Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Same 11 as the weekend. Mo as super sub if required.
Case Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 For those who think/want Mo to start… Who is being dropped?
Flasher Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 Just now, Case said: For those who think/want Mo to start… Who is being dropped? He'll be up front with Ekitike, Wirtz and Isak needed for Leeds (and still not 100% fit)

Sunderland are flying and Leeds are 18th, though. I do see some of your point, we are weak as piss and Elland road will be loud, but Sunderland are so much better
