cocknose Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 Ice baths for 3 days , do not change the team !!!
Ombudsam Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 Who do Man City have on the right? Wirtz basically vacated that space the entire time and that helped elsewhere but if they have a right side that can do things then Wirtz in that position is asking for trouble. It’s similarish to what we did against Palace no? I didn’t watch that game though.

Flasher Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 Man City are counter attack now. Let them have the ball and counter them instead. 1

Keep Halaand from scoring, like we did Mbappe yesterday, and we should be ok
honourablegeorge Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 Haaland is really thriving on the "one ball straight down the middle" thing that we've left open so much recently 1
Cobs Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 we've dealt with him pretty well since he came to the PL. He never fancies it against Virgil so Konate will need to be on his game. 1

Yeah, but they have always played more possession, the few times I've seen them lately, they sit back, invite teams on and then boot it long for him to run on to. They're like a really expensive Brentford

YugoB Posted November 5, 2025 Posted November 5, 2025 39 minutes ago, honourablegeorge said: yeah, that was the game I had in mind, they really sat back something Guardiola did vs Arsenal as well, never seen a team of his sit in a deep block. I don't know if we'll see Wirtz out wide against them, that surely was tactical vs madrid, he may go back to Cody out wide. Last year at the Etihad we played with double 10s. So will be interesting to see what Slot does this time around as well. I see Rodri got a few minutes at the weekend, probably will play/start vs us .
