Does Collymore drink?

I said in the pundits thread that he'll never last with the BBC. And that's if he even starts.

"They employed Savile". Christ.

He's looking to be dumped by them, isn't he. Clearly has a victim complex... or at least wants to be seen as one rather than the perpetrator.

I'm not sure why, but when I hear him on the radio, it sounds like he's in a mobile burger van, or the toilets in a branch of wickes.

There's just something so functional and 'take it or leave it, that's my opinion' about him.

and of course his favourite technique of SHOUTING over anyone else

There's no analysis, just paint-by-numbers comments seemingly generated randomly.

Whinged about Manquillo and Moreno on Sunday. Until that 3rd goal. Next game Moreno will be "ace" but judged solely by the goal. He's as contrary as an internet fan.

He was making no sense at all about Sturridge. Banging on about within 4-6 games of not scoring you can ruin a striker. All because Dan was tracking back and going out wide.

He needs 2 Twitter accounts, one for the sports and another for everthing else.

I'm stunned his employers haven't insisted on it.

Okay, considering it's TalkSport "stunned" may be over-egging it a little; I'm guessing they're of the "any publicity is good publicity" ilk. MotD and the BBC certainly aren't though.

Oh yeah, definitely.

But he's supported in doing so by his employers - who profit from his 'controversial' style.

That's true. On the plus side for them, they have at times encouraged him to stick to football, and have lobbied Twitter and had a station wide boycott of them for a period over their abuse/troll complaints policies.
