Remember when Norwich put a price tag on Chris Suttons head along the lines of whoever puts £5m into our bank account first can have him? Blackburn Rovers did just that and Suttion was their player within a couple of days, I wonder if the club said similar but for an amount of £150m or whatever if the result would be the same? Call Barcas bluff and see if they pony up. At least if would stop them coming along and offering a packet of crisps and a mars bar for him next week.

Dembele went for nearly that much.

They got the Neymar cash, saved on his salary and have done their usual s***house set of tricks.

180m minimum. And just for s***s and giggles, Real Madrid can have him for 170 if they fancy a pop.

And both will be up the Swanee if he goes this month.   Methinks we will agree to sell him to Barca in the summer for a predetermined price.   Of  course, we could always ask  for Suarez in part exchange......

Suwannee.

First international break wasn't it?

he refused to play for us  was injured in August but was fit to play for Brazll the day after the transfer window shut on 1st September (and again on the 5th), then played twice more for Brazil in October, then he missed a game v Japan in the November but played v England a few days later

Didn't start either of those Brazil games in August/September and then was back in the Liverpool squad in our second game after the international break. It's hardly contradicting him being injured before that.

Are people really believing that Coutinho was and is coincidentally injured for the span of the transfer windows when every man and his dog reported that he was refusing to play?

He's a rat for the way he's acting and should be told that every game missed will add to the price.

This is different. I was for keeping him then.

If we can replace him do it. We are in the think of our business now.

He’s now f***ing with our season.

We can't replace him. Of course we can't - not in January

we'll struggle to replace him in the summer, let alone now

People are talking like he went away to Brazil and played 180 minutes, that's all. I don't really care either way, but it's a bit weird how Brazil were able to go along with this conspiracy as well.

he's clearly not playing because of where his head is at.

the Brazil physio/doctor said there was nothing wrong with his back - the coach played him from the bench cos he wasn't match fit - y'know having not played for us

and it's not about whether he played 18 or 180 minutes

he was trying to force a move by not playing in August - spun as an injury

it's one helluva a coincidence he's injured again now the moment the winter transfer window opens

as ever,he could put all the speculation to bed in one pic on instagram

NBC guys reckon Arsenal want 25-30 million for Sanchez.

If true, we should in for him.

And the 250k a week in wages? If not more.

If as it's being reported that Klopp has final say then perhaps despite him being good on the pitch, off the pitch things aren't great and we'll cut our losses.

Of course we should, but he'll end up at City.
