Skeever Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Neil Ruddock described himself as a "Hell Razor" but it is difficult to comprehend now how he got that reputation as today he is a very much grounded and a quiet person who... that couldn't be further from the truth actually... kop205 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Arf arf, passing that coin between us, arf arf, having a piss on the pitch, arf arf, first to the bar, arf arf, being able to dish it out but not take it back, arf arf, generally being an unprofessional, egotistical t*** who cheated the fans and finds it all highly amusing. He's a c***. But he did break both of Andy Cole's legs in one tackle.
Leo No.8 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) Sorry but the headline 'exclusive interview with Neil Ruddock' is about as attractive to me as a sign outside an old people's home saying 'colostomy bag emptier wanted'. I'd resent the wear and tear on my eyes reading it, or the effort it took to click on the link. Edited April 11, 2011 by Leo No.8

Cobs Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) if that was about a player at another club it would be quite funny i hope someone emails a link to Simon Jordan Edited April 11, 2011 by Cobs
Swipe Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 An embarrassment. That coin story made my blood boil. Useless fat c***.
Damian_de Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Cheers for the link. I have enjoyed the series of interviews you've done there.

But he did break both of Andy Cole's legs in one tackle. When I heard him tell the "pass the pound" story years ago, he was actually proud that the Liverpool boys had the creativity to think of such an amusing game - that and the fact that apparently we could drink any other squad under the table of course.. As a side note I know it's not a popular thing to say but now that most fans know these stories about that squad I genuinely don't get the affection that "our Robbie" generates - he was one of the biggest, selfish tw*ts in that team. If he cared about the club half as much as he claims (and is claimed for him..) he and Macca could've taken that team by the scruff of the neck and actually achieved something instead of acting like a bunch of immature kn*bends.

The walters step over Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) he was very young at that time tbf. Aye, that's true - I grew up idolising johnny Barnes and apparently even he was acting the tw*t under Evans. It just does my head in really - it's easy to say but we were as good as the Mancs for two seasons (and playing better football while we were at it) and to achieve feck all because they were having competitions to see how many of them could sleep with someones daughter and getting Evans in headlocks just annoys me to distraction. edit - 183 goals is fantastic, but if you can honestly say that Fowler gave his career everything or behaved with total respect for this club and it's staff then you're just plain wrong I'm afraid. You've certainly got a point, though in mitigation Fowler was: (a) a young, impressionable kid who was let down by others as much as he let anyone else down(b) ultimately f***ed by serious injuries as opposed to how own lack of professionalism(c ) not a Cockney. I know, only 183 goals, what an underacheiver..... He was so good though that 183 goals almost is an underachievement. Whether he is to blame for that is another argument, but for whatever reason he never fulfilled the early promise. Edited April 11, 2011 by kop205
Crazy Horse Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Thanks for the interview - it was an interesting read.
Boca Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Fowlers record up to season he had that injury - 188 games 116 goals. Wouldn't mind a few more underachievers like him.
Buttles Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 There is a radio advert for a suit company in London that he does which makes me want to insert implements into my ears it's so bad. Full of cockney 'avin a larf lines about whistles etc.
Benzo-13 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I blame Roy Evans for all that embarrassment.Should never have been given the job but Freddie knew better.
Crazy Horse Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I blame Roy Evans for all that embarrassment.Should never have been given the job but Freddie knew better. Blame Moores then. That f***** has cost us about 20 wasted years.
Sion Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) Kenny should have had the job back after Souness so Ruddock and his g******* mates wouldn't have conspired to f*** us up. Edited April 11, 2011 by Sion

nick1892 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Bumped into him at the Grapes in Formby after a midweek European game. Only thing that struck me was that he had a f***ing massive head.
