downunder Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 and he has lost his (un)just place as forum scapegoat to Reira too, He has always been a good player, not a world beater but a good asset. Sadly many don't see it. He is one player who does seem to play regularly though, and since he has been playing most the time he has done very well.
stressederic Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I wish the f***** would shoot more though Any excuse for another 100+ page in the genny...
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 he's becoming the player he replaced - Lil Louis. I've always liked him, but in the last 6 weeks he's made himself undroppable. He remains the kind of player who'll flourish in games like tonight - football. He doesn't do so well in physical battles against cloggers who'll kick him in the air
smithdown Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 He's improved a lot since...er...since...what was the name of that player we sold to London?
stressederic Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 He's improved a lot since...er...since...what was the name of that player we sold to London? Ronnie Rosenthal
Archangel Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Could be a very influential player, quick witted and takes up intelligent positions for us. I understand the arguement for using the pace of out and out wingers but Yossi represents the type of attacking midfielder with good technique who unlocks tight defences by finding gaps and exploits them and yes he has been in the form of his life over the last few months
San Diego Red Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 He'll be 'not good enough for Liverpool FC' next month.
_00_deathscar Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 He's Arsene Wenger's midnight wet dream.
pipnasty Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Any excuse for another 100+ page in the genny...

New York Red Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 He's improved a lot since...er...since...what was the name of that player we sold to London? You can't like him. It's not allowed. Nor can that Iraqi t*sser in Dubai or wherever he is.
fred milne Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 he's becoming the player he replaced - Lil Louis. He doesn't have as many goals in him but I think he's a much better player than Garcia.
D.Boon Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Yossi played really well tonight. Good on him.
Swagger Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 He doesn't have as many goals in him but I think he's a much better player than Garcia. Agreed. He's much better at bringing others into the game. A very intelligent player. Hope he continues his run in the side.
honourablegeorge Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Big change was him playign more centrally, rather than Kuyt, who was stinkign the place out when he was up front with Torres.
Hassony Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 You can't like him. It's not allowed. Nor can that Iraqi t*sser in Dubai or wherever he is. portsmouth and after last night, I have decided to make Yossi an honorary muslim
richwilks Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 His attitude has been good and his performances over the last 4-6 weeks have put him up in my estimations. Slowly working himself into a first team regular which we thought he would be when we signed him. He adds a lot when he is on top form, unfortunately when he isn't he's annonymous. Lets hope this run of form continues.
Coyler Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Played really well last night, especially later on. and after last night, I have decided to make Yossi an honorary muslimI think you have to do business with his family for 200 years to do that.
Rimbeux Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Big change was him playign more centrally, rather than Kuyt, who was stinkign the place out when he was up front with Torres. Aye, suited them both
