Cobs Posted May 18 Posted May 18 7mins injury time, Raya faked injury for 2 and a half minutes - Arteta furious they’re playing beyond 8mins he’s such a little c***

Cobs Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 Only saw the last 15mins was the atmosphere that s*** all game?
Cheesecake Posted May 18 Posted May 18 I hate this sort of stuff - "Lucas Pires flies in with a high boot and Bukayo Saka goes down holding his head despite there being no contact. A booking for the Burnley man."
Barnesy_10 Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Just now, Cheesecake said: I hate this sort of stuff - "Lucas Pires flies in with a high boot and Bukayo Saka goes down holding his head despite there being no contact. A booking for the Burnley man." Saka is one unlikeable c*** 1
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted May 18 Posted May 18 mad - they've not had a red card nor conceded a peno this season (in the league at least) Trossard, on a yellow vs Villa, grabs a shirt & prevents a break - free kick, no 2nd yellow the headbutt this, today... 1

Barnesy_10 Posted May 18 Posted May 18 About to be crowned champions next game and it’s last home game of the season today and loads of fans leave the ground ahead of any pitch walk 1 1

Cobs Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 2 minutes ago, dyl said: Laaaahndan, innit Force wasn’t massive but he’s miles from the ball, it’s quite deliberate - studs into his calf. He has to be sent off for that. Incredible 1
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted May 18 Posted May 18 funny thing is Arsenal can't even admit they got away with one. It's as if by saying on twitter "yeah, could have been a red, got lucky" is suddenly going to change the result against them That's 2 MASSIVE f*** ups by refs / VAR in this weekend's set of games alone
Zoob Posted May 18 Posted May 18 The non red is up there among the worst decisions of the season, and there's some stiff competition on that one
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted May 18 Posted May 18 f***'s sakes - obv dependent on tomorrow - but Arsenal away to Palace last game who have their final - I don't know why but after the UEFA Cup Final, you'd think UEFA Cup would be after that one - on the 28th and who haven't won in the league since 12 April. Not a f***ing hope Arsenal don't win that. Only hoping City win tomorrow and grab a couple of early goals vs Villa to get the arses clenching
Barnesy_10 Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Apparently Arsenal haven’t even conceded a penalty all season neither
kop205 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Guardiola leaving City = they're getting found guilty = for the optics of the league it looks really bad if they win it again = make sure Arsenal do 2

Ripley Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Didnt see the match but caught up on the video(s) of Havertz incident. To answer an earlier question, the c*nt of a ref was Paul Tierney (quelle surprise.) A look at the ref forum reveals absolute unanimity for a red. At least one contributor made the apparently salent point that the reason the VAR (Rob Jones) did not get involved was because he will have been aware that the on field ref had such a clear view that he (VAR) was mindful of the policy "not to re-referee the game". if this really is a policy. its application seems to be totally random - except that one club has benefitted from both aspects recently.

VAR did get involved? Assume they said to the ref he has to go Love the mental gymnastics from Arsenal on the socials - - his leg was bent as he went in rather that straight so it's not a red card... - It's AI - it didn't hurt, it's really just a scratch....
Gethin Posted May 19 Posted May 19 TNT not showing any of the European finals on free to air this season. That's never coming back then
Jay M Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Southampton kicked out of the playoffs and Middlesbrough are into the final
