Hopefully Ekitike is fit

Has anything been said re his injury? Hopefully was just cramp again, he does seem to struggle with playing the full 90 mins.

We're in trouble if he's out

And no matter what, do not go 2-0 up

Straight from 1 nil to 3 nil, there you go Slotto, you're welcome

One thing is certain. Calvert-Lewin will f***ing score.

6 prem league games in a row for him now. Longest streak is Vardy with 8.

So what you're saying is he's going to equal the record against the Mancs next weekend.

I thought Vardy did eleven games - beat RVN’s record of 10 (which actually was Aldridge’s record and then someone cancelled football and restarted it in 1992)

Ah you're right. Tge report I saw was referencing his 8 in a row in 19/20 - his 11 were in 15/16. I should read things properly really shouldn't I 😉

Either way, ex Arsenal Calvert-Lewin is not getting a 7 match streak.

These are actually pretty decent

They were good away to Sunderland today - I think their record away generally this season is pretty poor though

I will take another narrow win that infuriates the masses right now

I think if we could go 5 nil up inside the first 30 minutes and then hold onto a 5-4 conceding 4 corners whilst making 5 subs that progressively make us crapper and crapper the forum might simply implode and become a black hole.
A 5-5 draw or loss from being 5 up is I imaginable.

We went 4 nil up at Elland rd in 91 and eventually won it 5-4.

Lee Chapman suddenly becoming unplayable, iirc.

We also went 2 up (gulp) and 3-1 up in 2000 and lost 4-3. f*** You Viduka.

(The 4th was about 2 yards offside, but the delirious commentator said - out loud - that it didn't matter because it was such a wonderful narrative. f*** You as well)

Barnes made it 5-2 IIRC but we still didn't look right

I'm so glad someone else remembers. I've spend 25 years furious about that. Was in the home end aged 18 and despite the air of violence, got up and screamed at the ref and lino about that. My family had to make a hasty exit from the "Family Stand" after that.

We have Chris Kavanagh in charge for the FIFTH time this season.

VAR is once again Dazza England who gives good process.

We need to stop worrying about who the f***ing ref is and start turning up on the pitch.

Ripley always updates us on the Ref to be fair. It’s not some preemptive cry in.

He’s in some refs Freemasons forum I think.

I'm not worried about who the ref is. In this case though, at matchday 19, I find it odd that we've got one of the Select Group 5 times when there are 19 in that group (3 geo barred, 1 returning from injury)
