That midfield three will expose us over and over again. Neither of the two playing ahead of Grav have the desire or nous to drop in when he gets further forward (and loses it). Better teams will destroy us in the centre of the park. -
His final ball is crap too, for the price tag he should be playing in tight positions, that’s what you pay the big bucks for with attacking talent. He’s weak as piss.

He never tries to take a player on either though and create space for others or have a go himself. He gets in some good positions, plays the easy option and then disappears again.

All things considered that’s a decent point, Jacquet looked solid enough and subs at least looked arsed unlike some of the starting XI -
Before the signings I wondered if Gapko saw himself more of a central striker, maybe that’s what turned his head towards a s***-show like Spurs? That or it’s a pay day for a club with hilarious delusions of grandeur.

Wirtz offered very little which is still a worry. Theres a ball between or into the space behind our CM pairing that’s going to expose us massively, that and a midfield willing to run at us.
