Expecting a mauling. Can't see how we can come away from the San Siro with anything. Every game that comes up is like death by a thousand cuts.

We're going to have to pick Konate again. Gomez will have to play next Saturday at rb so can't see him starting this.

Otherwise try again at finding a way to get Etikite, Isak and Wirtz in the team and working together. The former is a no trainer, and if  we can't get either of the latter two to work we're in even bigger trouble

Could possibly try Gravenberch there? Not ideal, but..

Allison

Bradley-Gravenberch-VVD-Robertson

Jones-Mac Allister

Szoboslai-Wirtz-Isak

Ekitike

Hopefully the new lads will have seen all this fuss and thought “I’d probably better run in the next game and kick the ball harder”

That might help.

Do we reckon we have trained up Isak enough to play in this or is it too soon?

Wirtz should deffo start in his favourite position which is anywhere he isn’t picked.

I'd hate to see that, it would be similar with Dom playing RB...trying to solve one problem by causing another. And that's if Grav can actually play CB, it's one thing dropping him back when we're chasing a game or dominating against a low block team, but full match away to a decent side?

This is all through the lens of 'nothing is a good option' but I think playing Konate is the least worst. I'm just hoping we've got the cash for a CB in January

Grav is never a CB, he’s barely 65kgs soaked through, shocking for their last goal yesterday too, a total pansy.

Wet measurements for footballers are done using mildly obscure imperial units only.

This is what f***ed us with Frimpong. At 172cm I’m sure Slot was thinking “Yeah so around the same height as Virg! Get him in!”

So about 14 stone right? That’s big enough.

I swear to God, if we get knocked out of the European Cup…

Course we will. Unless, the obvious.

It’s all set up for us to have to play one of the playoffs and get hammered by another big dog or lose to some s***bags. A big European night under the lights at Anfield and FC Volvo 440 will come and not be terrified as they should.
