Cam Posted September 17, 2025 Posted September 17, 2025 Forget the dull part, start the match at 80 minutes. 2
YugoB Posted September 17, 2025 Posted September 17, 2025 (edited) They're in decent form playing decent football for their own crap standards, Grealish is playing well. Early kick off is a nuisance, hopefully we have enough juice following tonight's match for their antics. Will be interesting to see if Arne rotates the midfield, and who for. Macca looked rusty when he came on. Edited September 17, 2025 by YugoB
Barnesy_10 Posted September 17, 2025 Posted September 17, 2025 Quite glad they are playing fairly well at the moment. Means they might fancy playing football against us rather than just trying to kick us about around the pitch 2
Begbie Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 I'd leave Dom in midfield, which puts Macca on the bench. So then it's a choice who starts at RB and number 9 I'd go with Bradley and Etikite
Ripley Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 (edited) The rehailitation is complete by the award of a Derby game Dazza England will ref and Bobby Madley will ignore things Edit: Sorry, that should be Andy Madley 2nd Edit: Sorry, Bobby, Yes Bobby Madley really is 4th Official and John Brooks is VAR In other news, Paul Tierney, confined to thr shedfor a long time by injury makes his whistlng comeback by taking charge of L2 Cheltenham v Oldham Arsenal v Man City is being reffed bt Stuart Atwell, which is causing some astonishment Edited September 18, 2025 by Ripley
Jarg Armani Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 I'm a bit concerned that we've got a 12.30 sat after an 8pm Wed, and it's these, having had a full week's rest. Will be a tough one. 1

Would be nice to put the game to bed early and put in a strong defensive performance and shut these t***s up
Gethin Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Think there's choices to make at both FB positions, either Mac or Szobo in midfield and either Isak or Hugo up front. Rest of the team picks itself - especially with the ability to play a second string on Wednesday in the Milk Cup Reckon he'll go Bradley, Robbo (assuming he can handle the turnaround) Szobo and Hugo. 1
Gethin Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Just realised I've got to find somewhere in suburban north Manchester to watch this 1

honourablegeorge Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Was great to be able to bring on Macca, Bradley and Ekitike, felt like we had a bit of strength in depth for the first time this season. Rio seems to be trusted more and more too, he didn't come into an easy game there 1

They'll play low block, I'm sure Moyes would've deeply analysed the Burley game. They'll play for set pieces and have the odd counter attack to try to make something happen.
Barnesy_10 Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Think they will be hoping we play Kerkez and target him all game 1
Benzo-13 Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Hope we manage to not mess around when marking Beto.

If Bradley starts on the other side, he needs to be careful with getting booked early, that's two games in a row he's gotten booked after coming on.
Cheesecake Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 Robbo surely can’t start this one, he struggled more as the game went on last night. I hope he starts Ekitike up front. 1
