There’s only so much value to them in having him for the games so I don’t know what their figure would rise to anyway.

Well that's for our powerhouse DoF to find out isn't it? You lot caved at Madrid's first offer. Not a single tiger in the boardroom found here.

It’s not complying though it’s taking money for nothing really.

f***ing Dire Straits again? Thought we'd done that.

I think the booong will have helped them accept this

So, to paraphrase you very slightly, we're getting millions less from Madrid than we would have done, potentially risking our priority signings this summer, because @Ombudsam booed the f*** out of Trent?

Appears that way doesn't it. s*** state of affairs.

What date are the proposing? June 1?

I’d wave him off next Sunday after the trophy presentation so he doesn’t sit on the parade.
I think I’m joking. He deserves to be there, but not sure he should be, if that makes sense.

I doubt that’s their first offer (I think it was a request for an early release). I assume that they have a low walk alway point and we’ll probably hit it. It won’t be a figure that makes us any money but at least this tournament has created some leverage for us.

There really aren't many better. Ibou has had a massive season, and one bad Endrick tackle aside, he's been fit for all of it too.

I'm a big fan of him but if he ain't signing get shut. It's as possible as not that he returns to his fragile self missing games as previous seasons. Even more so if he thinks he has to protect himself for his big move.

10-15% of whatever prize money they win, or he can watch the whole thing on his flat screen Telefunken

I don’t think you would get that even in lieu of a transfer fee

Who is Wirtz gonna pass it to if we get him? Are we abandoning a striker?

My theory is that is we want to switch to a more double ten formation like we did in pre season to good effect last year, and also away at City. I think he'd have done it a lot more this year if he felt he could play Harvey. It would also make sense regards Frimpong because if you've got two players sitting in front of the back four you can get away with two attacking full backs a bit easier

So it's a kind of 424.
