Stevie H Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 during the arsenal - villa match, up flashes on the screen 'was it a penalty? tweet 'yes' or 'no' to @bbcmotd'. f*** that right off.
Vlad JNR Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Add Shearer to the list of things MOTD should f*** off too.
Ripley Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 They look as though they might have taken some of the punters' outrage on board and realised that they are being left trailing by Gary Neville. Lawrenson is at least only clutching on to the window ledge and they are giving a run out to a few. Shearer may have been told to try to be more interesting (I know) and had comparative graphics of Welbeck's box entries (titter ye not). Whole thing is still s***, mind.
Stevie H Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 shearer's had some close-season coaching, no doubt. be more interesting, please read and digest zonalmarking.net and read some jonathan wilson, attempt occasionally to use words of more than one syllable. oh and the goalline technology thing flashing up on screen during our highlights was laughable. stop it.
kop205 Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 oh and the goalline technology thing flashing up on screen during our highlights was laughable. stop it. It wasn't much closer to the goaline than to the edge of the 6 yard box. Still, keen to use their new toy I suppose...

Zoob Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 (edited) MOTD is poor, but it would still need to drop some distance to compete against Fox Soccer. Their analysis reached a new low last night when special analyst Thomas Rongen (who looks remarkably like a Thunderbirds puppet) spoke about how Wellbeck is able to score the goals for Liverpool while Suarez is suspended, and showed he's in good form by scoring for England in midweek, and then again for Arsenal yesterday. Hassony Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 The Mourinho w***fest was sickening just now certainly was Funny how the reception he received from chelsea fans was being played up all day they basically were just applauding him with a few banners they made on their way to the ground compare that to the reception Houllier got when he came back after illness for example

Still not lower than Danny Murphy crediting Danny Welbecks recent 'goal spree' to time spent with Roy Hodgson in the England squad.
Barnes' left foot Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Still not lower than Danny Murphy crediting Danny Welbecks recent 'goal spree' to time spent with Roy Hodgson in the England squad. He really loves Hodgson doesn't he?
Cunny Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I actually thought it was a bit better than recent seasons.
Stevie H Posted August 19, 2013 Author Posted August 19, 2013 I actually thought it was a bit better than recent seasons. No 'Lawro'. It's exponential.
Earl Hafler Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Add Shearer to the list of things MOTD should f*** off too. His comment about the French players was f***ing ridiculous.
Rimbeux Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 So is there finally going to be a big step forward across the board on football coverage, and Neville would have started it. See Sky have reacted to BT by moving things on a bit, now doing the Saturday 530 game in front of a live studio audience; competition
Davvo Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 So is there finally going to be a big step forward across the board on football coverage, and Neville would have started it. See Sky have reacted to BT by moving things on a bit, now doing the Saturday 530 game in front of a live studio audience; competition BT's match coverage of our game was decent, the studio seemed a bit of a copy of NFL's Total Access show in the States, but that's not a bad thing, fresh as far as football here is concerned. The Live Lounge or whatever it's called, afterwards in competition to Soccer Saturday, was f***ing dreadful. The MNF coverage with Neville and Carra is top notch really, certainly in comparison with anything else out there.

Missed our game unfortunately, I'm hoping BT are good and they are in it for more than the broadband. Only caught a glimpse of the Saturday thing and with no sound, but it seemed an interesting angle with Redknapp having to do his analysis with that kind of immediate response from an audience. Didn't work?

cymrococh Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 it made jonathan pearce sound more robot wars than usual.Introducing Sir Killalot to that studio would make it watchable.

Had to resort to a s*** stream after that.

Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 The BT Sunday Night Football show as a recap of the French, Italian and German leagues has been quite good.
Gunga Din Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Introducing Sir Killalot to that studio would make it watchable. or Raoul Moat, if he was still alive
Swan Red Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 or Raoul Moat, if he was still alive f***ing lol
